On a Saturday afternoon we observed players of Archery and most of them be in High School. At prototypic glance youll be overwhelmed seeing them play because teens nowadays spent mostly their period on computers playing DOTA or making status on Facebook. These teens bring on a bright future ahead of them. Since Im not too familiar with archery here are some things that I had observed. The archers who are in all boys were all line up from a gibe line. They are really faraway from the tar go bad which is really different from us since we are beginners. in advance they start barb someone will whistle to physiognomy the signal. We dont know what his role is so we asked him. past he verbalize he was the DOS at first we looked at each other; we dont get what hes saying and the older man said that he is the Director of Shooting also known as Field Captain. He is responsible for controlling the match and cast off sure the archers followed the rules. He will also give finding of fact to questions about the rules and settle disagreements and will signal when to start shooting and when to end. There is also the score keeper which will bring down the points after the arrows had been shot and will validate the scores. Another is the parry which tallies the scores from the score keeper.



We also met the term spotter which uses patch scope to see how your shot ended cause the soft touch is too far away to see and lastly the assay responsible in keeping the shooting di attitude correct, monitors the archers and directs their stance on shooting line, he also makes sure that all shots are taken within the time limit. We also learned a new instrument called the spotting scope a small portable telescope which can magnify contrary images. It is commonly used for bird watching, verifying an archers shot, surveillance and other activities which require magnification.
